Photographing these aircraft is always difficult because of the contrast between the navy blue fuselages against bright summer skies. Saturday was the kind of weekend that all aircraft photographers crave: arguably the best military flight demonstration team in the world and an interesting sky as a backdrop.
I will let you decide whether I succeeded: these are some of my best photographs this weekend of the six crack pilots and their F/A-18 Hornets.
